Okay so anyone familiar with Damon's canon you should know he has compulsion. Those unfamiliar with the canon this basically means that Damon can control the thoughts and actions of another person/make them do things so long as they're not ingesting vervain regularly / have an article of vervain jewellery.
If for some reason or another you believe your character should be immune from compulsion or even you would prefer Damon not use it on them please comment here for reference. (Obviously I'd never whip it out without warning first regardless.)
